No Place Like Home

As I sit this morning by the window looking out with my cup of Joe, it is snowing yet again, the BIG flakes that keep your attention. The monsters and the PaPa Bear are still nestled in their beds dreaming of warm, sunny days.
My computer won't upload the pictures I have taken from the last 4 snow days at home. I tried documenting through pictures what this Gang does when we are snowed in. I will try again later, as it is interesting to see the chaos that happens inside our cozy home when we can't get out.
I am Thankful that I am able to stay home with the girls on days they don't have school, even though we all suffer from a little cabin fever by the end of the day. It truely beats dragging them out in the cold.

So today again, the little girls will stand at the big window and look-out at the falling snowflakes and come up with things that the fallen snow looks like (cotton candy, clouds, ice cream, etc), the oldest may venture out for some snow scooping, I will dream up something warm to fix for lunch and supper and bake a batch of cookies for the monsters to snack on, the PaPa bear will nestle in the basement for a day of football watching.

Even though, I'm ready for Spring...blooming flowers, stroller walks, and swingset playing. For now it warms my heart for us all to be safely at home... warm and cozy.

There is No Place Like Home.

Stay Warm.

  1. It is nice to stay warm, to all be safe and sound in the little nestled house. Or at our home front, coyote hunting in the FRESH snow!!!
