So here is a look inside our home when the weather outside is frightful.
Often times, its Chaotic, but I have learned that's 'normal' operation in homes with Many Children.
Hot Chocolate is a MUST even if you haven't left the house and braved the cold.
Play dough always makes for a nice organized, easy clean-up, No Mess project. However it does occupy a good hour of time.
If you seriously don't think I let my kids watch a little tube, Your Crazy. The time is monitored considering the oldest two could spend the day in front of it. But common on, a little won't hurt them, a mom needs a little break.
All 3 of the girls, HEART, craft projects. And since Valentine's is the next holiday (not sure if it's really a 'holiday'), but anyway we cut out and decorated hearts for nearly EVERYONE we could think to decorate one for (cousins, grandmas, grandpas, aunts, uncles, pets). Even I joined in the FUN!
When the oldest gets tired of the youngest two, she bundles up to head outside for some peace and quite (can't say I blame her). Of course KC doesn't even realize its winter and thinks we have all stayed home to spend the day with her.
Working on A,B,C's and 1, 2, 3's never gets old for Koop. She loves the one on one time with anyone that will give it to her.
Who needs a warm day to wear a mini-skirt and a tanktop (or go pantless) to play hop-scotch?
So their you have it, a little play by play action inside our home on Snow Days.

I was wondering how warm your house must be to run around in tank tops, no pants and barefoot!
ReplyDeleteMy grandkids like to be barefoot too!

Looks like a great day to me! Glad the girls are being creative and enjoying each other and there seems to be NO fighting. Looking forward to an addition to your family for more entertainment. Love Aunt Sue
