I rarely post what is heavy on my heart.
I generally just keep it to myself, ponder it, pray about it, worry about it, cry about it, and rarely do I share it with anyone.
That's "how I roll" as, my dear husband would say.
But this time of year gets me everytime.
So today consider yourself Lucky? or UnLucky?
Today my heart is heavy.
It's heavy wondering about how many little people won't get anything for Christmas?
It's heavy wondering about how many people (big and small) went to bed last night cold, due to the fridged cold weather?
It's heavy wondering how many people don't know the true meaning of Christmas? And maybe it's because NO ONE has told them? It's really not about presents and gifts. We should be having the BIGGEST birthday party of the whole entire year, celebrating the birth of our WONDERFUL Lord and Savior.
It's heavy for those people that are sad, for reasons that only they know about.
I feel blessed when I look at the list above.
We have a warm home, some presents under our tree, the girls love to talk about Mary and Joseph and the birth of Baby Jesus, we have few needs, and we are healthy.
May your heart be heavy and inspire you to do a kind deed for someone in need during the upcoming holiday season.
I couldn't have said it better myself. Uggg, I'm feeling overwhelemed today. Have I really been on vacation this week??? Amy
