It's always good to know that we (a family of 6) are just as "NORMAL" as the next family of 6. That the CRAZY things my kids do, that I do, and my husband does isn't out of the ordinary.
So here's what's SHAKIN' around The Wood Gang homefront.
I'll start.....I am certain I slept a total of 3 hours last night and I was positive that I had the flu. But today I am good to go and thankfully the flu bug didn't bite me. Truthfully, the homefront doesn't run very smoothly when the mamma is out of commission.
Kail Roma....stands ALONE. She might as well stand alone on my chest and break my heart while she is at it. Their will be no more babies at our house so I'm struggling with her making changes towards toddlerhood.
The Wood Gang has taken a long enough break from farming. So Saturday we will start fresh with 4 new baby chicks.
I'm considering picking up a few goats while we are out....our lawn mower is OUT OF ORDER and our lawn looks like the property is vacant.
We are thinking our first camping expedition is marked on the calendar....it will be an interesting experience considering our camper hasn't grown in size but our group has.
My husband decided the girls needed a bike ramp in the driveway last night. So they now have a bike ramp. Who said girls can't do what boys do?
Kohyn has started to "pretend" to run 5K's around the house (a 5K equals 7 laps). You Go Girl.
A dear friend brought us a big bowl of mushrooms. Brandon & I decided it might not be a good idea for the girls to eat them due to their weird allergies (Wink.Wink). So him & I ate them ALL, yep....all 40 of them fried in butter!
We are ALL waiting patiently for school to end, summer to arrive, & the local lake to open for swimming.
And daily we count our blessings and consider ourselves lucky to be living the "normal" life we claim to have!!
Fun times, just wish I could have had a mushroom! Love that Koh is also turning out to be a runner like her mama! Hope to see you Sunday! Love,

Josh and I have to check Halloween candy (every piece) to make sure there are no razor blades so I totally understand the allergy thing!!!
