From the Home Front

.....and in a blink of an eye our family went from 5 to 6.

.....and it's true what they say, the transition from 3-4 is cake compared to 1-2.

One week ago today, Kail Roma made her grand appearence into her home town La Plata, Missouri. Our family is adjusting well to her arrival....her big sisters have seemed to carry on in their regular routines and stop by her side often to leave a kiss or pat her head (softly).

Kail was named by her daddy. His grandfather that passed away long before his arrival was named Gail and so keeping with the "K" we changed the G to K and Kail's name was created. Her middle name, Roma, comes from his grandma Roma. She is a dear lady that raised a house full of kids herself (7 to be exact). Brandon jokes with her that we are trying to keep up with her in the kid hatching department, we are throwing in the towel.....she WINS.

We are feeling blessed by the out-pouring of love we have felt since Kail arrived. I have yet to cook a meal since she arrived home, my sorority has brought supper each night to us for an entire week. We have enjoyed introducing Kail to her cousins, Anna, Jude, Scout and Saylor and have also enjoyed visits from friends and family.

I'd say, "So Far So Good"!

Until Next Time.
