I have learned over the past 2 weeks, that even though you take Vacation.....life goes on.

It seems like forever since I last blogged.

Which is GOOD!

That means that my two weeks didn't just FLY by.

However, life as "normal" did carry on while I was away.

WEEK #1.

The first week of vacation was spent at the fair in Iowa.

It was "interesting" to say the least.....the FLU BUG bite the momma of the house!

I was determined to get my kids and camper to the fair so we marched forward and went.....thinking I would get better (of course).

Of course, that didn't happen and I landed in the hospital for a short stay.

Kohyn & I both struggled with tummy aches and head aches.

We spent hours sharing the potty and visiting about ALMOST everything you can imagine while keeping each other company.

WEEK #2.

Cam and her projects headed to the Macon Cty fair.

She landed ALL blue ribbons and 3 GRAND CHAMPIONS.

Her hard work paid off!

Mid-week, Brandon's grandpa passed away.

Kohyn quickly learned about the "Circle of Life" and Koop went on about her jolly self.

I will remind Kohyn when she is older about one questions she asked, "How did God get PaPa George in heaven?"

And before I could answer she said, "He has butterfly wings doesn't he Mommy".

So as Life Goes On......we now look forward to the last few weeks of summer break.

Kohyn continues to practice writing her name, getting ready for PRE-school.

Camrie gets to enjoy a few weeks with NO PROJECTS.

All 3 girls start swimming lessons this week.

I return to work.
