Fairs

........and ALL good things must end.

The last 10 days have been as action-packed as they could be and I'm glad to be back at, The Best Job Ever, recovering from them.

First and foremost Cam did a GREAT job with her 4-H projects at the Macon County fair. Again this year, all of her projects recieved blue ribbons. 4 projects made it to the state fair and 2 projects got Grand Champion for their division. Her hard work paid off and I was very proud of her!

Thursday we loaded up and headed to Iowa to the Davis County Fair.

We had a TON of fun!

Some of the 2009 highlights were:

hanging with cousins, catching up with friends, watching the livestock shows, taco salad, ice cream, The Muttville Dog Show, BINGO, the rides at the carnival, the petting zoo, turtle races, and the horse barn.

During our visit to Iowa we were introduced to a lovely little family project.

I'm not ready to let the cat-out-of-bag and tell you what it is, it's still in the works.

I'm hoping by Wednesday (if not sooner) I can share pictures and the plan with you!

It's EXCITING and if your a camper you will be IMPRESSED, stay tuned.
