Pity Party

OK, it's rare that I have pity party's for myself. Generally I don't have time to; kids, husband, house, supper, laundry, diaper changes, etc. But today blog friends I'm finding the time.
My heart is broke and I'm down. Let me give you the details.

For months and months and months I have been on the "list" to get a new computer at work. I know most of you are saying what's the big deal? Well, here goes. From watching a few co-workers experience I knew getting a new computer was more then it sounded. Lots of files had to be moved, things had to be saved, programs had to be converted, etc. So I keep putting it off, I'd use the "I have a grant due" excuse and they would leave me alone. Last Friday, my excuses ran out. So here comes the very nice man to install my computer. We had a short conversation about "IMPORTANT" files that I didn't want to lose etc. One of the files being my kids pictures, ALL of my kids pictures, EVERY single one of them. (sidenote: not saved any where else). So the very nice man saved them for me on a jumpdrive and then I could reinstall them on my new computer.
By now, I have a feeling you know where this story is going.....Yup, your right, the files didn't get transferred correctly onto the jumpdrive and even worse my old computer has been stripped. OH MERCY!!!! Friends, it's a full-blown DISASTER here, I have called my husband crying, which by the way he doesn't deal with a crying wife very well, witch only makes it worse.
SO, I'm sitting here with my new computer (the one I didn't wait in the first place) having a PITY PARTY for myself.

My face is long, my eyes are teary, and I can't believe I relied on a computer to hold such treasures :(
So if you have any pictures of my kids from the last, say 10 years and you would like to share them with me, PLEASE do so.
