Sooner then Later

OK, so I found a few minutes to spare. So I thought I would fill you in on the Wood Gang happenings. WOW and we have some exciting ones to share!

First of all, our weekend was AWESOME! The weather couldn't have been better. I spent most of Saturday, cleaning the house and doing some more redecorating (I've got the redocrating itch bad).
Saturday night Kohyn ventured out for her first real BIG girl sleepover at PaPa Jerrys and Grandma Penny's house. She was so excited...she packed her bag with all of her important belongings and out the door she took. I'll be honest, Brandon and I did everything we could to try and get her to stay with us....their was no presauding....she was staying!!!
By the way it sounds she did a GREAT job....UNTIL.....it was time to go to sleep (of course). She climbed off Grandma's lap and announced, "NO, NO, NITE, NITE, MaMa's house". Grandma convinced her to stay and she did just fine.

Sunday, I picked apples. OH MY, did I ever pick apples and it doesn't even look like I picked apples. If you're in the area and would like a few hundred apples PLEASE stop by and help yourself. I've done about all I can with apples; Apple Butter, Applesauce, Apple Crisp, & Frozen Apples.

So then yesterday was Monday. (Hold tight, this is when it gets exciting).

I recieved word on my way to work that my mom's brother had been airlifted to Des Moines after his wife took him to the ER Sunday evening, he had suffered a heart attack. He is now doing fine and is expected to be dismissed tomorrow.

Yesterday, afternoon I decided to skip out of work early. It was such a nice day. So I head home and tackle the weed batch next to the garden.
Without a thought Brandon brought the girls home and I rush into give them hugs and loves.
OH GOOD GRIEF!!!! I didn't think to take off my weedy clothes. And about an hour later Kooper's entire face was breaking out, bright red, warm to touch, her eyes were swelling shut.... she was having an allergic reaction. Have I ever mentioned before that her dad has extremely sensitive skin!!!
So off Kooper and I go at 100 mph to meet the Doctor in Kirksville!! Sure enough....she was having a SERVE allergic reaction....to what? A weed, some weeds, all the weeds, that I came in contact with yesterday!!! So a good dose of drugs and a few hours later our little Puffer Fish (that's what my little nephew called her while they were praying for her) was looking more like herself.

Are you Tired of reading??? I hope. Because I'm tired of typing!

No really. We are Well. Honestly. And were thankful for the days end yesterday.

Busy with 3 girls and loving it!

and if ever someone would like to share what it's like in the day in the life of YOU, please do....it might make me feel better that I'm not the only one living life with my hair a mess and my mind half crazy!!!!
