It's Thursday?
Where in the world has this week gone?
It's gone I do know that!
I have had another EXCITING week. What started out with a busy Monday at work turned into a busy Tuesday in Des Monies at the hosptial with my dad.
As most of you know we had a HUGE scare Monday night. My dad, Monday evening lost total control of his short/long term memory, he could not recall anything about his day and I mean nothing. So after a trip to the ER and an ambulance ride to Des Monies, they found a prefect CT and MRI. The doctor called it this.....Transient Global Amnesia. The doctor explained it to be, a lapse in your short/long term memory lasting between 5-12 hours, due to extreme headache or extreme strain in work, the time lost will more then likely never be recalled by the patient. The doctor sees approx. 1-2 people a year with it. CRAZY! Monday afternoon dad tore out fence row at his house (poles and all). EXTREME STRAIN in WORK, ya think?
Dad is now doing great. However, he still does not recall anything about his day on Monday and was excited to get home to see all the work he had done on the fence row.
I've learned that slowing down a retired UPS man isn't going to happen...so onward dad. We are glad everything is OK and next time go get the Amish boy to help you, PLEASE!!
Work. Holy Cow. This place is busy. No need to explain all the details. We have grants going in every direction and I'm trying my hardest to keep them all put together and organized...I'm being challenged.
Kids. Oh yes the 3 monsters. They are AWESOME. A BIG Thank You goes out to Grandma Penny for being the taxi and hotel this week. I'm thankful for you!
Weekend. I can hardly wait for it. I'm planning on revisiting the decorating project (hopfully) and picking apples and pears from our trees. I'm also planning a BIG, EXCITING time of NOTHING!!! Playing on the floor with the kids, reading, relaxing, and catching up from a wild week.
I MUST say this week again has made me think of how thankful I am for so many things.
- A wonderful family that comes together in time of need.
- A GREAT sister who I love.
- Friends and prayer warriors.
- My husband who makes me laugh when I'm on the edge of crying.
- And mostly for a God that listens to us and guides us ALWAYS!
Lastly. I'm keeping a BIG secret from Cam. Remingtyn is coming over for a friends day on Saturday! She is going to be so EXCITED! I'll snap some pictures and post on Monday (promise). Another, thing to THANK him for!
Have a wonderful weekend. I do believe it's FALL!
Busy with 3 little girls and loving it.
I'm so glad it was nothing really bad with your dad. Have a great weekend.
