The Wood Gang is headed out to The Lake of the Ozarks tomorrow for a weekend of Fun in the Sun with the Wood family. We can't hardly wait to see our cousins, swim and take in the Ozark Opry!
In 22 short months I will be aswering to Mrs. Wood in a classroom somewhere. I am back in school and couldn't be anymore EXCITED about it! I have my first class nearly under my belt and can't wait for the next 2 years to fly by.
Kail Roma will soon be a cloth diaper wearing baby. I am picking up my homemade order today at 2:00....I can't wait to try them out!
The strawbale garden is hanging onto life by just a string. I picked my first tomatoe last night and am afraid their aren't many more to follow. Note to Self: Strawbale gardening requires LOTS and LOTS of water!!!! I'm not throwing in the towel after the first year, we will attempt it again next year and do things a bit differently.
I transported green beans across state lines yesterday. I'm scared to death of the pressure cooker so I snap my beans and then sent them to Iowa for my mom to pressure cook. So worth the mileage in the dead of winter!
Baby Food making is underway at The Wood Gang homefront. Peaches, Sweet Potatoes, Apples, Green Beans, & Squash. I have no doubt Kail will be saying YUM-O when she starts eating.
I meet a Wood Gang blog reader last weekend at the DC fair (and I didn't even know her). Who knew I actually had a follower....for a split second I felt famous!!
Just 3 and 1/2 more weeks and the girls start back to school and our crazy no schedule, no bedtime, no worries life will come to an END. Its a bitter/sweet feeling for them and I both.
Feeling blessed for our healthy girls, our cool house, great friends and family, and another summer full of FUN memories!
I am soooo amazed at your stamina! Teacher, cloth diapering (which I did in l980) gardening, baby food maker and much more! You go girl!
