It reminded me of my youth....sitting in the drive-way last night with the kids and husband listening to the La Plata Bulldogs play for the state title in Class 1A baseball. The metal hanger was attached to the end of the radio for better listening and the lawn chairs were lined up around it, the breeze was blowing, the kids were riding their bikes and Cam was cheering along with the La Plata fans with what she could hear behind the annoucer.
It reminded me of my youth.....when my dad would get the metal hanger out and attach it to the radio for better listening, sit the lawn chair right beside and tune in to Cardinal baseball. I would ride my bike in the driveway and he would yell and scream as the annoucer would give him play by plays.
Congrats La Plata Bulldogs on WINNING the Class 1A state baseball title.
We had a BLAST listening and cheering!
