Mom's Getaway

This week we have been back in the saddle at home, all 5 of us + the one baking in the oven.

I like it that way.

Brandon's extra pair of helping hands were missed last week.

Starting tomorrow I'm turning in my helping hands and leaving the girls in Brandon's care for a short, 3 days. He reassures me he has it ALL under control.

I trust him.

I'm boarding Amtrak first thing in the morning out of La Plata bound for the Quad Cities where I will visit my sister and her family, take in church Sunday morning, a Steven Curtis Chapman concert Sunday night, and listen to my sister tell about her recent mission trip to Burma.

I am SO excited.

I'm feeling especially BLESSED today.

For my husband, who said GO, have FUN, don't WORRY.
