Family

Tis the season.....for the pollen count to sky rocket.
Of course, right during the time you send your kids out to run in the fresh green grass and dig for Easter eggs.

I'm pretty sure I have wiped a runny nose close to every 15 mins for the past 3 days and have said BLOW nearly a million times.

Our past weekend (minus the fun things above) was SUPER exciting.
We celebrated with the "other"grandma this time with a Birthday party celebrating 80 years.
It was so nice to fellowship with family and walk back a few years together remembering old times.
After the evening concluded, I thought of a few more.....

-Going to grandmas house in the summer as a kid and her not having AC. It was HOT!
-Sitting on the stool in the milking parlor talking to grandma while she milked the cows.
-Fried Chicken, mashed pototoes and gravy!

It amazed me to look at a house full of people (30 plus) Saturday evening and think that 2 people created it all.

God's work is AMAZING!

  1. Lib - The 80th party at your Mom's was great. She did a really nice job of hosting us all and we sure appreciate it. I'll bet she was worn out after all was over. Hope Cooper got to feeling better. It is fun to see your generation enjoying each other. Love Aunt Sue
