I LOVE my blog.

Not sure if I have ever told you that?

But I Love it!

I think I love it most because their is no "LIKE" or "DISLIKE" button.

It's ALL MINE, so I can write and post pictures of whatever my little heart feels like at that very moment.

So with that being said, I've decided I'm not done preaching about my past weekend away at

Women of Faith.

I want the world to know how truly awesome my experience was.

What I learned.

and

What I really didn't care to hear but really needed to.

The nerve that got struck the hardest with me was this topic....

EVERYONE WANTS A BIT MORE

OH, don't we!

The most prefect example given was this.....

As youngsters we dream about a home, husband/wife, kids, jobs, cars, etc.

Then when we get those things; a home, a husband/wife, kids, a job, new/used cars ect.

We often ask, "Is this it?"

Is this what I've been waiting my whole life for?

This is where it got me.....we think STUFF is the answer to our happiness.

Stuff will fill us up, Stuff will make us feel full, Stuff will make us happy, and more Stuff will make us happier.

WHY do we all want more?

God puts the desires/craving in us!

Craving for MORE.

God is why that restlessness is in us.

However, the restlessness and cravings we reach for and crave is STUFF

(cars, clothes, houses, shoes, books, etc.)

Things that WE think will make us HAPPY (and will, for a short amount of time).

Restlessness, cravings, and STUFF will remain restless until YOU/I come to understand the abundance of Christ and fill ourselves with HIM and His LOVE.

OH Lordy, I say......and repeat I got told things I really needed to hear but really didn't want to.

SO, EXCUSE ME NOW WHILE I GO START GETTING RID OF SOME stuff.
