EGG-citing

We have had an EGG-citing weekend.

After waiting 6 LLOONNGG months I am so EGG-cited to announce, one of our 4 chickens layed an EGG.

When I found it nestled in the laying box Saturday night, I jumped up and down, screamed at the top of my lungs, sent a text message to my friends, and called my fellow chicken farmers.

I acted just as excited as I did the day I gave birth to my babies.

I am hApPy to tell that our chickens will remain part of our family, OUTside of the freezer.

Here is my promised Project Report from the weekend.

NO, your not seeing things, this isn't the girls bedroom. It's my kitchen pantry.

It needed serious attention.

I needed a start and complete project for the weekend.

Not a start and work on it for 6 weeks project.

So the girls bedroom is still waiting.

As for the pantry, it looks nice, Don't ya think?

Koop has fallen in love with getting her picture taken.
