Sunshine

It's gloomy and overcast today.

It's one of those days that you have to drag yourself out of bed and make yourself go to work.

It's one of those days that you would love to stay in your PJs all day, read as many books as you can to your kids, eat whatever your heart desires, and skip brushing your teeth.

With the sky over cast and my body wanting to be at home.
I think I need to remind myself what I'm thankful for. I have a HUGE list, I'm sure you do also?
But so many times we forget the good, and focus on the gray skies. I assure you, that if you take the time to write what makes you happy down, you will soon be seeing the sunshine in your overcast day.

You know, it goes along with making lemonade when your only handed lemons.

  • I absolutely love my kids fresh out of bed....when they want to cuddle, their hair is a mess, and they are still to tired to say anything.
  • My husband. As mad as the man can make me (YES, he does make me VERY mad at times). He can always manage to turn my frown upside down.
  • My H's. Health, Happiness, Home
  • The Best Job Ever
  • A loving, understanding, forgiving God. AMEN
  • That we are a family of 5. YES, it's an odd number, YES, we only have 4 chairs at our kithen table, YES, not everyone has there own bedroom. But YES, we are happy and all of those things don't matter in the big scheme of things.
  • Just Cam & I bunked in the "new" Ladybug last Saturday night. We ate popcorn, drank kool-aide and played RACKO.

I'm saying it and I hope it doesn't jinx me.

LIFE IS GOOD.

A single day in your courts is better than a thousand anywhere else! I would rather be a gatekeeper in the house of my God than live the good life in the homes of the wicked.
Psalm 84:10

Busy with 3 girls and loving it.

  1. Libby, You are so right, there is always something good somewhere but, sometimes when you are handed lemons a lemon drop martini might be better than lemonade!!!
