Excitment Ahead

The Wood Gang is starting to get so excited for the weekend.

Saturday we are heading to St. Louis with some friends for an over night and a trip to the Zoo.

Last night Kohyn named all the animals she plans to see.

She named several zoo like animals, and I was impressed, until, she started naming farm animals.

Horse, Cow, Pig, Dog, Cat.

Honestly, the trip to the zoo couldn't have come at a better time.

The terrible two's have hit our home and we have been using our weekend away as a reward for good behavior.

I know, I know, it might not be the best parenting skills but seriously if your a parent you know where we are, at the Whatever Works stage.

To say the least, she has been a challenge lately.

I keep reminding myself that it will pass, hoping sooner then later.

I feel as though I haven't said a word about the oldest child lately?

Camrie.

She is in FULL summer mode.

She is having an awesome softball season, getting her 4-H projects in line for the fair, and dying for some warm, hot, summer days to go swimming.

We are both hoping Friday brings some nice HOT weather so we can take a trip to the Aquatic Center.

Little Koop is turning into a pistol.

She loves to hold the cats tail while walking around the house, dances to "Baby Face", and eats anything and everything you put in front of her. I think she can see the future with her older sister Kohyn and has decided to do her best to keep up with her in size.

The whole Gang is doing their best to talk me into getting a new family pet (a blond Lab).

Of course daddy is the ring leader of the idea.

I'm saying NO, we have enough mouths to feed.

However, I think I am out numbered.

Kohyn already has it named, Camrie lights up like a light when Brandon mentions it, and they have trained Kooper to shake her head YES when they ask her if she wants a puppy.

I'd say I'm WAY out numbered. UG.
