My oldest monster is away, acting like a typical 10 year old girl.
Deep down I think it might be killing me, but I haven't thought about it long enough for it to actually do it. I dropped her off Sunday afternoon, in the middle of the woods in a very cute little cabin, with a nice swimming pool and dining lodge, CAMP JO-OTA.
I haven't heard a thing from her since.
I wonder what she is doing?
If she has made new friends?
If she has learned anything?
If she is ready to come home?
If she is having fun?
Tomorrow, at 10:30 I'm headed to pick her up, and I am SO EXCITED.
I had to laugh at her while we were packing her bag on Sunday morning.
She says, "I suppose I can't take my cell phone".
Me: Nope
Cam: I wonder if I could take it and just leave it on silence and just text you updates on what's happening.
Me: Cam it says right her NO ELETRONICS
Cam: K, guess I'm on my own then.
Me: Guess so girl.
Without one doubt she was so excited to go, she has talked none stop about it and counted the days down for the past 2 weeks. But, I know the feeling she was having, I'm sure it was the same one that I had as a 10 yr old girl when my mom dropped me off at camp for the first time.
The whole butterflys in your tummy, no talking to mom for 3 days, hope this is all going to be fun feeling.
On the other hand. Kohyn asked several times on Sunday when she was going to camp? I have a feeling when she turns 10 we can drop her off for the whole summer and she won't wonder a bit about anything.
Stay Tuned for tomorrow afternoons camp report!
Busy with 3 girls and loving it.
I bet she is having a ball, how much fun for her!!
