I really have no excuse for not blogging for a whole week. Seems time got away from me, seems that happens often anymore.

Honestly, things at The Best Job Ever are in high gear. The Obama Stimulus package has made for a TON of money to be had in our world. So we are dealing with LOTS and LOTS of eager investigators applying for funds.

The Wood Gang has been enjoying the delayed Spring weather. FINALLY.

It's been fun to dress the girls in capris and short sleeve shirts. I was so tired of hats, mittens, and overstuffed coats.

I thought I would try to earn back your forgiveness for not blogging for so long by posting a few pictures.

Below, are the neighborhood kids checking out the chickens.

To bad, they scared the chickens to death and they wouldn't come out of there house.

Yellow, Chicken Little, and Blue are living there last few weeks. They are near full grown and I'm thinking close to 4lbs (which mom says a 6lb bird will be prefect for the freezer).

I promise to post a picture of them before we turn them into supper.

The good thing about chickens is they don't care what you look like when you go to feed them.

I am hoping more then anything that the weather stays nice for most of the week.
I told Brandon last night that the only thing I wanted for Mother's Day is to plant my garden.
