and just when you brag about everything being Good (see the last post).
You quickly get brought back down to reality and "The Real World".
I'm not going to put things lightly or sugar coat my day today, I'm laying it out there just the way it is.
I WARNED YOU!!!
Here goes.
Monster #3 is sick AGAIN, and I seriously can't believe it.
Last night was LLLOOONNNGGG, I think I got about 3 hours of sleep.
In the between time, I cleaned up vomit - 3 times, cried, did 2 loads of laundry, cried, changed 5 diapers, cried, and changed her PJ's 4 times and cried.
This time around she has been bitten by the ROTO-VIRUS bug.
If you don't know anything about this beast, go google it. It's nasty.
I learned today that the 2 most frequent Spring time bugs in children are Roto-virus and RSV.
BRAVO baby Kooper Jane, you have managed to get both!!!
Stellan. If you are following our friend Stellan (who we really don't know personally) you already know that his outcome from yesterdays surgery didn't end up so well. What they thought they were correcting didn't in turn get corrected. So they will be staying in Boston for an extended time. Please PRAY for this little guy and also for his family. He totally melts my heart.
Next order of business.
Camrie.
My kid that LOVES to please EVERYONE, is struggling.
4th grade has been a whole new ballgame, not only the school work, but with friends.
We are on the downhill to summer vacation, Thank Goodness, because this mom is wearing down with ALL of the trauma.
The next bit I know I could spare you, but I told you that I was going to lay it ALL out there, so here goes.
I have finally after almost 13 months stopped nursing, my baby. YES, the baby thats sick all the time....WHO was it that said nursing is the BEST thing for little ones?
Anywho.
Apparently, I didn't take the "right" approach to stopping, which I didn't know their was one? Did you?
And now I have a beautiful case of mastities. YES, you read right, and yes it's the same thing cows get.
It's painful, causes a tempature, and makes you feel like you are just about ready to get the flu.
It's ALL sorts of FUN! UG.
I'm hopeful for a sunny, Life Is Good day tomorrow.
(and I'm not just hoping, I'm praying, and crossing my fingers and toes)
(and I'm not just hoping, I'm praying, and crossing my fingers and toes)
P.S. For those of you wondering...I already know.....you are dealt only the amount you can handle.
No temptation has seized you except what is common to man. And God is faithful; he will not let you be tempted beyond what you can bear. But when you are tempted, he will also provide a way out so that you can stand up under it.
1 Corinthians 10:13
and all God's children said?
The Rowells no Roto Virus too well. KEEP HER HYDRATED and it will pass!! Popsicles, gatorade, and broth. Then in a few days mashed bananas, anda anything the "clogs" one up. Stay strong, again it will pass. Give Topper a kiss from her Aunt Amy!
ReplyDeleteSorry Libby! Hope your weekend ends on a good note!
