I seriously NEVER thought this day would come!!!! December 19th. The last day of work until January 5th! I am jumping for JOY.
So faithful blog readers the Wood Gang Blogspot will be CLOSED for 2 weeks! No updates, No pictures, No nothing because the author doesn't plan to get even close to a computer. I am planning on consuming myself with my kids, and I can't hardly wait. Next week we will celebrate Christmas at home and then over the weekend my sister and her family along with my mom and her husband are coming to MO-MO for our family Christmas. The girls and I will then be loading up and heading to Illinois with my sister for 4 days of some FAMILY fun. We can't wait to play with Anna and Jude, eat my sisters GOOD cooking, go swimming at the YMCA, and visit the Family Museum. It's going to be a GREAT get away.
Lastly, I want to share with you a Christmas present that came early to our house. Monday, Brandon got called about a position he had interviewed for last week. He will be starting January 5th at the Bruce Normille Center in the Maintenence department. It is a state position that carries GREAT benefits/time off/retirement etc. It is truly the BEST Christmas present that we could have gotten this year.
As the days ahead get busy we must stop and remember the TRUE meaning of this holiday season....the birth of our glories Savior Jesus.
