Wondering about us?

Our weekend was good. Monday was good. The monsters are good. My husband is good. We are good.

So now it's Tuesday and I think it's going to be good as well. Or I'm going to do my best to make it that way! You know deep down we create our own happiness....and I have learned....it takes more energy to have bad days then it does to have good days, and why would we want to waste a day?

Have you noticed the weather is starting to turn to winter? Kohyn and I had a coversation this morning about sledding, snow, winter coats, hats, hot coco, etc. For some reason or another (or maybe because she is 2) I talked so much I talked her right into not wanting to wear her coat this morning. UG. And let me tell you a bit about Ms. Kohyn Dovie, when she gets it in her head it takes a TON of talking to get it out. So she spent another 5 minutes standing at the door in a COMPLETE MELTDOWN over wearing a coat. Needeless to say I WON finally, but not because she wanted me too. Kohyn where in the world do you get your determination????

I promised an update about our BIG outing to the movie Fireproof Friday night (see previous blog for details). It was good. and the advice I got was right on....Don't go without your spouse! Brandon commented on it off and on throughout the weekend, I know it wasn't his favorite movie by any means but we sat together and listened to the same message as a young married couple which was good for him and I. My advice to each of you is.....GO SEE IT!!! (or rent it when it comes out on video).
