Rare.

Last night we had a rare occaision at our house, Brandon and I managed to stay up later then the kids. I know it sounds a bit dangerous but it really wasn't. A "normal" bedtime at our house goes something like this. Me in the basement rocking Kooper and Brandon upstairs wrestling Kohyn to sleep, and Cam, she falls asleep the minute she hits the pillow. So last night, we did our "normal" routine and everyone went to sleep with a minimual fight.
So guess what Brandon and I did? Played Yantzee! Honestly, if it was up to him we would have stayed up all night playing game after game, but finally at 11:30 I decided that it was WAY past my bedtime and I needed to "throw in the dice".
I went to bed thinking to myself that we are truly parents of 3 kids when all it takes is a Yantzee game together to make us happy!

For those of you wondering, Camrie's 10th birthday was WONDERFUL! Her big night at Pizza Hut in a booth with her friends was everything she thought it would be. I truly hope the kid always thinks so simply.

I've said it a million times but, we are looking forward to the weekend....we are doing our favorite....NOTHING! Picking apples, playing outside, doing laundry, and maybe going to the pumpkin patch.

I just want to say a BIG thank you and AMEN today for answered prayers. I had a VERY happy 10 year old head out for school this morning....she was going to see your best buddy Remingtyn!
