Here are the girls with GREAT grandma Lucy.
She reminds me so much of my Granny (her mom), Kohyn's namesake, Kohyn Dovie! I love to see the kids making memories with their GREAT grandparents, as those are some of my most fondest memories as a youngster.
I'm looking so forward to the weekend! We have been on the run for several weekends and I just can't wait to sleep in, hang with the kids, pull some weeds, cook, catch up on laundry, and just RELAX! Our yard looks like the place has been abandoned and the garden....OH I can't explain what it looks like???? As Kohyn would say, "A Mess".
Headed to meet the Teacher Night tonight for Cam. Can't believe she is starting 4th grade Monday, she is so excited. This morning she said, "Mom, don't tell me what I need to do and don't pick out my clothes, I need to get back on my school schedule". Such a good kid!
And then there was Kohyn this morning, who wanted to wear her PJ's to April's and then decided at the last mintue she didn't want to go, the conversation went something like this:
Me: Kohyn are you ready to go to April's
Kohyn: NO
Me: Planning on staying home by yourself today?
Kohyn: No, PaPa
Me: Oh, PaPa is coming to stay with you?
Kohyn: NO, PaPa's house.
Me: OK, your going to PaPa's house today.
Kohyn: ugh ha
Lastly, please continue to pray for our friend Remi. Yesteday they learned that they will be in Kansas City for 3 weeks. They are concentrating on fine motor skills and just getting all the neutrons back in the right place and doing the right thing. Just pray for a FULL recovery! God is good All the time and All the time God is good!
