First of all my Monday off was GREAT! We stayed an extra night in Iowa due to terrible weather conditions and came home yesterday morning. Our weekend went so fast (like they always do). Brandon got almost all of his painting done. Back next weekend to finish the bathroom. The little girls and I enjoyed visiting with Grandma, eating grandma's cook'n and helping daddy out.
Saturday was AWESOME....I got to see my 2 best Iowa friends, Amy and Amy.
It had been forever since we last got together...way to long!!!

Saturday night after we filled oursleves to the brim with supper, we headed out for a drive to check on the Iowa deer population. Why do the deer in Iowa seem so much bigger then the deer in Missouri? Can't some of them move just a few miles south to make my husband happy???
We were glad to get home yesterday! There's No Place Like Home when you are gone for 3 nights. Kohyn couldn't wait to get her hands in the toy box and Cam was excited to relax in front of the TV, Koop and I hung out in the kitchen for most of the afternoon cooking up baby food...sweet potatoes, apples and peaches.
I have "challenge" news to report, but I'll save it for a day I don't have much family news to share. (see previous blog).

Luv the "25 things about me." I got tears in my eyes a couple times. Funny how life could be as simple as living like the Amish. But after 3 days without power, I'm good with living not like the Amish. We both have always found interesting things about others lifestyles. Yours Amish mine Indians (not the Native American kind.) LOL So glad you got to spend time with the two Amy's!
