Fair News

We have had more FUN then what any family should be allowed to have in one week!

The previous blog promised pictures....and here they are!
This was at the Macon County fair a week ago when Cam rolled in the Blue Ribbons!

The first picture is of the GRAND CHAMPION green beans!
Next is the BEST of SHOW apple pie!
On the far right is the dress she made (thanks for ALL of the help Grandma Susan)!

Thursday we packed up and headed to Bloomfield to the Davis County Fair! Cam's pie took 3rd place in the Youth Pie Division and brought $95 in the auction (all proceeds benefit the fair grounds) Thanks Grandma Lucy for the purchase.

Here are a few pictures I snapped at the fair. Unfortuately, my hands were extremely full and I didn't get as many pictures as I wanted....however, memories are priceless, Thank Goodness!
Kohyn and Cam really had a BLAST....just a quick run down of some of the favorites!

-Turtle Races....Cam got first in her heat. Kohyn just stood over her turtle and said, "go turtle go" the poor little thing only took 2 steps, not caring that her turtle came in dead last.
-The horse show.
-The horse barn, where every horse there was TAR!
-Yummy food at Grandma's camper.
-Spending the night at my aunt and uncle's house. I hadn't stayed there since I was a little thing.
-Riding the rides. Cam loved every mintue of it. Kohyn wanted nothing to do with them.
-Brandon and Cam going to the tractor pull, eating ice cream, and getting home WAY past midnight.
-Watching my cousins show sheep, hogs and cattle.
-Brandon getting 13th place in the Chili Cookoff! Leaves LOTS of room for improvement. But of course he was best buddies with all of the other chef's by the end of the day.
-the $95 pie.
-Hanging out with my sister and cousins and our kids playing together!

Busy with 3 little girls and loving it!
