REQUEST

I don't often do this but after this morning I feel like I need too.

Around 6:45am I recieved a text from my friend Amy Nelson who lives in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, it said, " I think I just saw your old house in Chex Village on the news - underwater!!!!"
She called shortly after that and filled me in on all the flooding in the Cedar Rapids area. The Dairy Queen I frequented is completely underwater and you can only see the top of the roof, they have evacuated Mercy hospital downtown and are moving people out that live near and around the Cedar River.
They are predicting that it will be far worse then the flood of '93.

I am asking that you keep all of these people in your prayers! Water can be a very MIGHTY and POWERFUL demon! I still have many friends that live in the area and I just pray that they and their families are safely away from any harm!

Since I'm on the "asking" kick today......please keep my sister and her family close to your heart. They spent the night in the basement last night due to Tornado Warnings and the whistle going off several times. On top of that they are having flooding in there basement. I talked to her this morning and she said it was at least a foot deep!

Now for a few things I am praising him for!!

The girls LOVE April the new baby sitter!!
The million $dollar$ grant went out yesterday w/o a bit of trouble!!
I have 3 healthy girls and a warm place to lay my head each night!!!
