Oh Kohyn is something else....I'm not sure if it's because she is really beginning to talk ALOT and becoming easy to understand or if it's just because she is "Kohyn"!
I told you yesterday to stay tuned about the conversation she had with the oven door....
Last week one day while I was home cooking lunch Kohyn decided to join me in the kitchen (or maybe I forced her into joining me in the kitchen to make lunch? Since leaving her in the living room with Kooper ALONE isn't a good idea)!
While in the kitchen Kohyn realizes that "someone" is in the glass of the oven door! I can't explain how cute it is to watch a 19 month old visit with herself....the conversation went something like this:
Kohyn: Hi! Hi! Hi!
Wave, Wave, Wave, Wave!
Kohyn: Mom, Mom, Mom, Mom....pointing at the oven door.
Mommy: Do you see someone in there?
Kohyn: Bye! Bye! Bye!
and then she lays the BIGGEST kiss on the oven door!!! and says Bye, Bye again as she walks away.
I would love to know what was going through her mind? Do you think she thought it was someone else? Who knows.
Since Kohyn seems to be the TOPIC for the day, I included a picture of her playing outside, something she LOVES to do. Here she is playing in her new sandbox. Thanks Grandma Susan and Papa Maury for such a fun thing to play with this summer.
I'm sure some of you are wondering how morning #2 went? Good! No blow-outs (thank goodness) and Kohyn was fine with baby going to Larla's house. I will admit that last night my day caught up with me....I only let a few tears fall (not bad I thought). I think it was just getting back into the old routine, Brandon assures me that it will take no time and it will all be OK! 9 weeks was a long time to be away and in my own little Camrie, Kohyn and Kooper world.
Lastly, I've come to conclude that sleeping in is over with for me for lots of years....the mornings seem to be the only time I can get things done (I guess that's better then no time at all). I was up at 6:00 today (YES, 6:00a.m. Dad, I know you won't believe it), I was out with my cup of coffee surveying the garden, watering flowers, and visiting with a neighbor walking by. I hate to admit it but, mornings are really the nicest part of the day!
Headed to Cam's game tonight, Go D'Zines!
Busy with 3 little girls and loving it!!!

I hope Cammie won? We just returned from the Swing Baseball game where Anna got to perform her ballet routine one more time, so the $30 costume got 4 min. of fame vs. 2 min. Anyway, glad to hear your second day went well. Try going to therowellcrew@blogspot.com I checked my blog out today and it appeared just fine? Let me know.

ReplyDeleteGlad to hear everything is going good for you, Libby. Early mornings have always been my favorite, probably from years ago being up before the kids to get myself ready first! Love the pictures, the girls are so cute.
